Apulia, Italy

I had the opportunity to visit Italy for a second time this year. The first time was back in the summer of 2020; I visited a friend of mine who lives in Imola, in the Northern region of Emila-Romagna, and I absolutely loved it. I was blown away by the mountainous landscapes and rivers, and the food of course :D. I knew then that I would come back.
And so I did. My friend Matteo moved back to Italy last year after over a decade living in Fuerteventura; he moved to Apulia, the heel of the boot. As it is my birthday season – and his as a matter of fact – I visited him for a few days in April. I am so grateful for all the travelling adventures my friendships bless me with. It was wonderful to discover a new part of this beautiful country. This time I was treated to a magical tour of the Southern peninsula, from the breathtaking architecture of Lecce to the picturesque town of Gallipoli, while being treated to a taste of the local life in Sannicola. Travel is the most beautiful thing in the world, I will never get tired of it.

Gracias por todo amor.
