I am an E-RYT200 and E-RYT500 and an It's Yoga International teacher trainer with over 1000hrs of training in a diverse range of yoga styles: Hatha, Bikram yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Yin and The Rocket.
I started my yoga journey in 2001 with vinyasa yoga and, over the years that followed, I explored many paths in the practice of yoga through asanas and anatomy, pranayama, meditation and the study of its philosophy. I completed my first yoga training in 2009, and I have since shared my knowledge in busy studios settings as well as smaller spaces such as offices and community centres, festivals, private classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings. I strive to learn more; I love all forms of yoga and find that they all complement each other to help create harmony within and around me, and by extension in the people in my entourage.
I continuously look for new ways to learn through my practice, workshops and trainings on top of guiding classes, workshops and trainings; I believe a consistent practice and continuous training to be the key to being a giving, compassionate and enthusiastic facilitator.
My classes have an emphasis on alignment and focus on breath, offering hands-on adjustments when needed, to provide a safe environment and to encourage practitioners to steadily develop their practice by cultivating self-awareness and acceptance.
