Portugal

This is the face I make every time I step foot in this magical country. Seven years since I first discovered this magical place. I didn't know anything about it, but I wanted to learn to surf and, as a present to myself for my birthday, I bought a surfing and kitesurfing holiday in the Algarve. I still want to learn kitesurfing as I ended up sticking with surfing the entire two weeks I was there.

This time around I hadn't gone surfing in almost two years. It was so good to come back to it. I surfed with a short board for the first time and it was so fun. My board was 6ft, I stayed in the front to practise, and I had the best time. It re-ignited my love of surfing big time. I'm so grateful.

I go to Portugal about twice a year to visit a very good friend of mine (who taught me how to surf) and every time I cross the border from Spain to Portugal I feel a joy that I only feel in this country and every time I leave I feel like I leave a piece of my heart there.

So many adventures, every one more beautiful than the one before. Again, so grateful to be able to travel and discover this incredible world we live in.

I look forward to seeing again soon...
